Growing up, I was always active and athletic up until my first year of college. I didn't have time to take care of myself because of school and I gained over 50 pounds. I lost 50 pounds in 50 kickboxing classes in 4 months and went from a size 16 in pants to a size 8!!! The classes are intense and fun and the instructors are great! I joined GoForItKickboxing about 6 months ago. I didn't think I was overweight but my body had changed after having my first baby . I was hesitant because I didn't think it would work for me, but it DID! So far I have lost 13 lbs!!! I LOVE the way I look and I now have my girlish figure back! I originally went to the academy for Jiu Jitsu training but found out quickly that it wasn’t my thing. Then I saw a GoForItKickboxing class and was instantly hooked. I took my first class and immediately knew it was for me. I sweated my butt off, I was really out of shape. It was great! The instructors are understanding and REALLY know what they are doing! I now try and go at least 2-3 times a week and feel so guilty when I can’t! I tell my friends to give it a shot. After all, the only thing they have to lose is weight.
